Newspaper Home Delivery Subscription Terms and Conditions
These terms and conditions ("Terms and Conditions") apply to, and govern, your newspaper home delivery subscription with your selected Australian Regional Media newspaper ("Newspaper Home Delivery Subscription" or "Subscription"). In addition to these Terms and Conditions, our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy also apply to your Subscription. By purchasing a Newspaper Home Delivery Subscription with us, you agree to these Terms and Conditions, our Terms of Use and our Privacy Policy .
The site is owned and operated by APN Newspapers Pty Ltd ABN 21 009 657 943 and its related bodies corporate ("APN"), Level 3, 33 Park Road, Milton QLD 4064. You may not purchase Newspaper Home Delivery Subscription for other persons or as gifts using this online service. Please contact Customer Services in such circumstances. Newspaper Home Delivery means the delivery of the ARM newspaper or newspapers you selected to your specified residential address. Newspaper Home Delivery is only available where normal delivery exists in your area. For information on normal delivery areas or delivery outside these areas, please contact Customer Services.
We are unable to deliver newspapers to post office boxes. Delivery to office buildings or addresses within security apartments is subject to delivery capability. ARM Subscriptions will contact customers if a delivery cannot be achieved and the customer will receive a refund or have the option to switch to an ePaper Subscription.
You may be charged for days that your selected newspaper is not published (e.g. Good Friday and Christmas Day) and/or days when newspapers are not distributed due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g. in some cases of rural delivery). In such instances we will apply the credit for these papers to your next subscription payment period. ARM will process and start your Newspaper Home Delivery Subscription within 5 business days of your completed order.
Pricing, Payment and Taxes
All pricing for Subscriptions include GST unless otherwise specified. Subscribers acknowledge that ARM may amend Subscription pricing from time to time and will provide 28 days prior notice to you. Any new pricing will take effect on your next billing date. You may cancel your Newspaper Home Delivery Subscription due to the price change by following the steps set out below.
All payments must be by debit/credit card. Payment for Subscriptions will be in advance for a four (4) week period and your credit/debit card will be charged in advance of each 4 week billing period until such time as we are advised to stop. ARM accepts American Express, Visa and MasterCard.
Subscribers are responsible for ensuring their credit/debit card details are correct. Changes to debit/credit card details can be made by contacting Customer Services 1300 36 16 04 or emailing Customer Services at circulationservices@apn.com.au .
If a Subscription payment or debit fails, we will re-attempt payment several times before contacting you to rectify. In such circumstances your Subscription will continue for a grace period of 7 days after which time we will cancel your Subscription. If you are under the age of 18 you require consent from the credit card holder to authorise charges to be made.
Suspension and Redirection
Subscribers will not be charged for the period of the suspension. Newspaper Home Delivery can redirected to another address. Redirection of your Home Deliver Subscription will be subject to deliverability.
For suspension and/or redirection please contact Customer Service 1300 36 16 04 or emailing Customer Services at circulationservices@apn.com.au . Redirections and suspension may take up to 5 working days to process.
Renewal and Cancellation
Newspaper Home Delivery Subscriptions will automatically renew and continue unless cancelled by either party. You may cancel your Subscription at any time by contacting Customer Services 1300 36 16 04 or emailing Customer Services at circulationservices@apn.com.au .
If you cancel your Subscription before the end of a prepaid subscription period, ARM will not refund any the portion of subscription payments relating to periods after the date of cancellation less any debt owing to ARM.
ARM reserves the right to suspend or cancel a subscription without liability immediately: (a) if you breach of these terms and conditions; (b) if we no longer deliver to your area; or (c) for any other reasons subject to 5 days prior notice. ARM will provide you with written notification of such cancellation.
Termination of your subscription may take up to 5 business days to be processed. During this period you may receive newspapers that are published between the date of termination and the lead time required to cease delivery.
Privacy
ARM collects your personal information and may disclose the information to any of its and other persons/ entities who assist with providing this Subscription service. ARM may also use the information to assist us in improving our goods and services and to contact you in the future in regard to our other goods and services. We handle your personal information in accordance with Privacy Policy . You can contact us to gain access to your personal information by writing to The Privacy Officer, APN 5/100 Brookes Street, Fortitude Valley.
Other
We reserve the right to reject any Subscription order or purchase at any time.
ARM may offer Subscription promotions which are subject to terms and conditions in addition to these Terms and Conditions.
These Terms and Conditions prevail over any inconsistencies with any promotional or trial terms and conditions.
