Woman airlifted after collision with semi-trailer

UPDATE: A 40-year-old woman has been airlifted to Royal Brisbane Hospital following a crash at Brooloo earlier today.

The RACQ careflight helicopter transported the woman from the scene at Moy Pocket Rd.

The woman was injured after her car and a semi-trailer were involved in a collision earlier today.

The road, near Brooloo, is closed in both directions. It will be closed for some time.

EARLIER: A 40-year-old woman is believed to have suffered head injuries after her car was hit by a semi-trailer on Moy Pocket Rd, near Brooloo.

The quarry truck which was carrying dirt at the time is said to be blocking the road.

Emergency services are currently at the scene.
