Water park coming soon ... just not to Toowoomba

FUNDING is locked in, tenders have been called - a water park is coming soon. But it's not coming to Toowoomba!

Maranoa Regional Council has announced plans to build a water play park in Roma.

Roma's water park will include a zero depth play area and multi-depth wading pool, which are all designed to "keep children entertained".

Local councillor Cameron O'Neil said council was "extremely excited" about the proposal.
