A DRIVER filling up at a Logan service station has allegedly had her car stolen before her very eyes.

CCTV footage, released by police, shows a group of four males walk toward her white sedan parked at bowser as the driver refuels.

One member of the group then gets in her car and drives off.

Police said that driver then did a U-turn at some traffic lights and crashed into a bus stop near a coffee shop.

"The vehicle proceeded south down Kingston Road and collided into a four wheel drive, causing damage to the rear of the vehicle," a police spokesperson said.

"The vehicle was later discovered in Ellen Street. There were no injuries."

Police said it appeared the keys were in the ignition when the incident occurred at about 4.20pm on Friday, 9 May.
