Teenager trapped after crash

A 15-YEAR-OLD girl was flown to hospitalfollowing a single vehicle traffic accident on Sunday September 9.

The teenager became trapped in the vehicle after crashing on Cox-Millard Rd, Thangool at about 4pm.

Firefighters used the jaws of life to cut the girl out of the wreck before she was flown to Rockhampton Hospital with broken legs.

Police media said the injuries were serious but not life threatening.

Police are investigating.
