MACKAY'S Fast and Furious wannabe has breached a court order and broken traffic laws to drive another day.
"Rubbish" was how Magistrate Damien Dwyer responded to the submission a teenager with 34 entries on his traffic history was remorseful for his latest driving charge.
At 17, Misha Richard Furini has lost 60 points off his driver's licence.
Less than four months after being disqualified by a court order from driving for six months for practising his "drifting" technique, Furini was back behind the wheel.
Police patrolling the Paget area heard the continuous loud revving of an engine, prosecutor Sheena Hayes said. About 1.10am on April 12 they came across a large group of people under a bus shelter.
As they drew closer to the crowd they saw Furini leave the driver's side of a ute and run to the back.
"(There were) doughnut shaped tyre marks in the grass leading to the vehicle," Ms Hayes said.
When officers spoke to Furini he denied any knowledge and said he'd left the keys in his vehicle while he went to the toilet. He wasn't allowed to obtain a new licence until after June 13 this year.
The Mackay Magistrates Court was told Furini had even completed a defensive driving course.
Legal Aid Queensland duty solicitor Chelsea Cross said her client, who pleaded guilty to hooning and disqualified driving, was remorseful for his actions.
"I take that with a grain of salt," Mr Dwyer said.
"All this rubbish he's sorry... he's sorry he got caught."
Mr Dwyer said Furini should have been sorry 12 months ago when he lost his first point, "not when you got (to) the 54th".
These new charges take the tally to 60. Furini has three prior careless driving charges and "I don't know how many" unlicensed driving charges, Mr Dwyer said.
"You're too immature to have a licence," he said.
Furini was fined $2000, which was converted to 91 hours unpaid community service. He was disqualified for two years for driving while disqualified and a further six months "for being a hoon".
