Rock on Biloela High School Bogan Bingo fundraiser
BRING out your inner bogan and have some good old fashioned fun with the Biloela State High School P and C's Bogan Bingo.
Get yourself a good mullet wig, flannelette shirt (sleeves optional), trackie dacks or jeans with multiple holes, footy shorts maybe and a pair of everyday pluggers and you are set for the evening.
The Bogan Bingo is the major fundraiser event for the season and promises to be a hilarious night of comedy, raucous bingo, music and entertainment.
There will also be an air guitar competition, prizes for best dressed and party goers can get down at the Dodgy Disco afterwards.
P and C vice-president Sandy Baumgart said the money raised would be put straight back into the high school to help fund coming projects.
"There are table and chairs, outdoor seating and an air-conditioner for the tuckshop for the volunteers to help them when it gets hotter,” Sandy said.
"It will be a fun night and it's easy to dress up and the music played will be based around 70s, 80s and 90s.”
It's easy to play. A bingo caller calls out the numbers and the DJ plays songs from the 80s and 90s that rhyme with those numbers.
Bogan Bingo will be at the school hall on March 23 and guests are advised to be there at 7pm for an 8pm start. There will be a licensed bar and light snacks available.
Tickets are $40 each or $35 each for a table of six if bought together. Available online at gladstonetickets. com.au or from the high school office.
