THE CALLIDE Lodge of the Construction, Forestry, Maritime, Mining and Energy Union hosted its annual family fun day in Biloela on Saturday.

The much-loved community event is an opportunity for Banana's mining and energy workers to give back and the festivities continued well into the night.

Held at the Biloela Pathers fields, local kids went wild for four hours of free rides, soft drink, ice cream and fairy floss.

There was plenty for mum and dad to cheer about too, with union members making the most of a complementary bar.

In case you missed it, check out the Central Telegraph's photos for the day.
