Levelling up regional rotarions with course

The Rotary Leadership Institute is a recognised training program in over 120 Districts around the Rotary world.

Participants for Rotary clubs right throughout engage in a series of fast-paced topics facilitated by members of the D9570 RLI faculty.

The weekend course offers fun, topical, interactive units geared to Rotarians who want to be more effective leaders, to develop their potential as Rotarians and increase their knowledge of Rotary.

This year in the Queensland district four seminars were organised by District RLI Officer Mike Fitzgerald a Rotarian from Rockhampton.

These seminars took place in Mackay/Sarina, Emerald, Bundaberg and over the weekend with thirteen Rotarians from Gladstone, Rockhampton, Biloela, Monto and Theodore attended the weekend course at the Queensland Heritage Park in Biloela on Saturday morning.

Facilitators District Governor Michael Buckeridge, District Governor Elect Adele Hughes and Wayne Litherland who worked with Rotarians over the two-day course and gave presentations of relevant information in special areas of Rotary.

A fellowship evening enjoyed by all was held at the Thai-Noi Restaurant Saturday evening. Sunday concluded the final session of the course with the presentation of certificates and badges presented to all participants.
