Hydrate for warmer weather

THE weather for the Biloela region will be a bit of a mix with cloudy and sunshine days ahead for the week, according to the Bureau of Meteorology. With some hot weather forecast, it's important to stay hydrated.

Today's forecast is partly cloudy with a slight chance of a shower in the morning with overnight temperatures a low of 19C to 22C and daytime temperatures reaching an expected high of around 30C.

The weekend's weather will see Saturday mostly sunny with a slight chance of rain and temperatures ranging from a minimum overnight of 18C to a daytime maximum of 35C.

Sunday could see some showers during the day with overnight temperatures falling to 19C and daytime temperatures reaching low to mid-30s.

Monday will be partly cloudy with a slight chance of rain and overnight temperatures of 20C and daytime temperatures rising to 34C.

Tuesday's forecast will be similar to Monday's weather with a slightly higher daytime temperature of 35C.

On Wednesday there is little chance of rain and will see overnight temperatures of 20C and a daytime high of 36C.

Bureau of Meteorology meteorologist Chris Joseph said the Biloela region could see warmer weather creeping in over the week.

"Temperatures will be on the way up a little for the Biloela region and fairly clear of any rain for a warm weekend,” Mr Joseph said.

"There will be easterly winds up because of a ridge of high pressure building along the coast and make it a degree above the average for the weekend.”

Mr Joseph said the start of the working week on Monday would be a touch above average in temperatures.

"As that ridge of high pressure weakens and winds turn around to the north-east, there will be a slight increase of temperatures with no rainfall to the middle of the week,” he said.
