Gentlemen, start you engines! The search for Miss Jack Daniels Racing finals are on! Finalist Donna Roles of Mountain Creek struts her stuff.

This Sunday prepare to warm your engines for an afternoon of hot rods and hot bods as the grand final of the Miss Jack Daniels Racing Finals kicks off at the Wharf Tavern.

With hotted up drag cars and even hotter girls parading down the runway, this event is sure to be sizzling.

Kicking off the day from 3pm will be an appearance from champion drag racer Brett “The Boss” Stevens, who will be showing off the Jack Experience drag team and drag racing cars before they head to compete at the Gold Coast for Indy.

Also strutting their stuff for audiences will be the 12 finalists in the Miss Jack Daniels Racing Finals competition.

With more than $15,000 worth of prizes, including promotional contracts and a modelling portfolio, the competition will be fierce.

Of the 12 finalists, four are from the Sunshine Coast, and 18-year-old Mountain Creek competitor Donna Roles said she believes she has what is takes to win the competition.

“I think I have a fun personality and I’m easy going and I think I can talk well, so I think I’d be a good person to have there talking to the sponsors and the corporate people,” Donna said.

And while she was a little nervous about the competition, Donna is not new to beauty pageants.

“I have been in a couple before this. I was in Miss Indy, Miss Mooloolaba and Miss Swimsuit Weekly for Zoo magazine and I was a finalist in all of them and I was the second runner up in Miss Indy,” she said.

Reaching the title of finalist for a fourth time, Donna said she hoped she could take the Miss Jack Daniels crown to further her dream career as a model.

But she also admitted she thought the competition would be tough.

“I am confident, but the other girls are just amazing. I’ve spent some time with them over this last weekend and it will be a really hard comp. They’re all gorgeous girls and we definitely all have a chance, so it will be a close competition,” she said.

But what Donna believed she had over the other girls was personality and an ability to communicate – aspects she believed propelled her into the finals.

And now she is a finalist, Donna hopes to impress this last lot of judges and finally break out into the modelling world.

Don’t miss the action this Sunday from 3pm.
