Grains Research Development Corporation update
GRAINS Research and Development Corporation hosted a Grains Research Update on Wednesday to discuss the latest in grain research.
The purpose of the meeting was to help inform and discuss the latest leading-edge research that's farm-ready for Central Queensland growers.
The GRDC's purpose is to invest in research and development to create enduring profitability for Biloela grain growers.
John Cameron, who is contracted to the GRDC, said the meetings were important to help keep local grain growers informed of research.
"It's one of the best research methods to give latest grain research to growers and what to expect with them,” Mr Cameron said
There were 83 people at the Emerald meeting and 71 in Biloela.
"We haven't had a chance to finalise the exit survey from the people who attended the Biloela meeting, but the response from Emerald was very positive.”
