Fast and furious fun on the court

NETBALL: There was some fast and furious fun last Friday night at the Biloela Netball Fastish Five Tournament.

In the cool but windy conditions, 14 teams played competitive but fun games to show off their skills, including beginners learning the game.

The competition comprised of family teams and teenagers, with retirees making a comeback and wannabes having some fun.

The best-dressed team was the Flipping Fish, with players taking to the playing court in swim caps and goggles to make the evening more interesting.

Each pool had strong contenders with players travelling from Moura, Wowan and Baralaba, but there could be only one winner in each division.

The victors on the night were The Other Team, Hoses Heros and Anonymous, who all took home a winner's trophy.

The Biloela Netball Association was thankful to all players and supporters who turned up for the night and wishes everyone a merry Christmas and a happy new year.
