Cheers to festival funds

SATURDAY night will be pumping with fun and plenty of laughter when the Rotary Club of Biloela hosts its Beer and Wine festival fundraiser.

Club assistant-governor and event organiser Anton Muller said the night promised to be good for everyone there.

"We want the people who attend to have a good time and at the same time we will be raising money to purchase a community catering trailer,” Mr Muller said.

"The purpose of the trailer will be to help the Rotary club community events or to assist emergency services with any natural disasters they may work on.”

There will be three live bands playing on the night and free canapes served.

"Tickets for the night are still available but we recommend anyone interested to buy them today to help us plan for food catering purposes,” Mr Muller said.

The event is on March 9 at the Biloela Civic Centre, starting at 5pm.

Tickets can be purchased online or bought locally at Auslec and Biloela Memorial Club.

Cost is $49 each and that includes either a free beer mug or wine glass.

There will be beer and wine sampling, raffles, auctions and for a special treat the night will have local produce on offer.
