Last week we played the front nine, the winner on 18 pts was P.Lambert-Barker(4) the pinshot on No2 was also won by Pauline and the membership was not won, until next time good golfing.

March 30: Another champion golfer has came out of Biloela.

Our own Andrew Nolan shot a one over par nine to win the Town of 1770 men's Open on Saturday by just one stroke from Calliope's Cory Heslin.

Cory had to survive a play off from Yeppoon's Aaron Malone when both players carded a two over 70 gross score with all players picking up valuable golfer of the years points.

The town of 1770's Jay Bills won the B grade with a brilliant four over par 72 winning the event by seven shots from Yeppoon's Darren Sorrell on 79.

John McLean of 1770 took out the C grade on 81 gross winning the event by three shots from fellow member John Jennings on 84.

Nett event winners: Nil received.


On Sunday we played a 4BBB Stableford event over 14 holes for Jim & Mark

Watson's trophies.

The winners this week were Tyson Charles and Tim Boyd on a great score of 35 points.

Runners up were Don Balnaves and Ian Kirk on 34 points then came Wayne Heid and Mark Watson also on 34 points completing the rundown.

The encouragement award this week went to Jim Watson and Joe Mazzacuva on 32 points.
