Caulfield cup day done right in Central Queensland

IT”S one of the biggest days on the racing calendar and the Thangool Race Club are excited to showcase a good day out on Caulfield Cup Day.

Acting as kind of the little brother of the Thangool Cup, the Caulfield Cup Day this year is a major event for the Biloela Panthers who will celebrate an end of year break-up.

Secretary of Thangool Race Club Edwina Devine said it’s reward for the Panthers hard work.

“The Panthers were lovely and came out for a working bee to help pout up new running rails and in return they’ll come out for a day at the races,” Devine said.

“Andrew Gee is coming out as part of the Biloela Panthers presentations and break up event.”

Devine also said that you’ll get five quality races along with the bar, canteen and the Bookmakers and TAB.

“We encourage everyone to come out and have a good day,” Devine said.

Gates open at 11am October 19 with the first race at 1.30pm.
