Biloela kids a hit on court

TENNIS: Biloela junior tennis players have had a busy summer season, with a variety of tournaments being played recently.

Biloela juniors had an impressive representative participation from St Joseph's School students.

Coach Helan Ambrey was impressed with the quality of tennis players that came from the school.

"The school did exceptionally well when considering its size compared to other schools,” Ambrey said.

"We are looking forward to 2019 and hopefully have more teams in finals this year.”

The Biloela juniors had a good representative season with St Joseph's School at the Capricornia Region and the Brisbane International Schools Challenge finals.

"This was an awesome effort achieved by the school students to have two teams qualify to play in the state finals for the fourth year in a row and a continuous run of seven years for the school altogether,” Ambrey said.
