Biloela man charged with drink driving after travelling through school zone

A 60-YEAR-OLD Biloela man has been charged with drink driving after he was intercepted by police after driving through a school zone in Biloela on Tuesday afternoon.

The man allegedly recorded a blood alcohol content reading of 0.074%.

A police spokesman said the time of the alleged offence, shortly before 3pm while the school zone was at its busiest, was concerning.

The man is scheduled to appear in Biloela Magistrates Court on March 15.
