Best travel agent in Queensland

LEISA Davis has taken out top honours for Queensland recently at the Helloworld Frontliners conference for Australian agents.

Leisa won the highest sales award for Queensland as an individual consultant.

There are 65 branded Helloworld Travel stores in Queensland and more than 250 consultants, so to be number one is a huge achievement.

Leisa thanked her clients, far and wide, for helping her achieve these sales and this award.

She attributed her win to total client dedication, putting in the many work hours to always provide a professional, efficient, honest and friendly travel service.

Leisa has been a consultant for almost 25 years, owning Helloworld Travel Biloela for 23 years and Helloworld Travel Gladstone for 18 months.

She opened a brand new store Helloworld Travel Rockhampton in February.

The Biloela store was a finalist as office of the year for Queensland in May.

In June Leisa won the "Women in Travel Retail Award" for Australia for the second year in a row and November reached fifth position as highest sales consultant in Australia for a large portfolio of holiday companies used for by Helloworld Travel stores.

Leisa was raised on a farm outside Thangool in Central Queensland and spent most of her life living on the fourth generation family farm, "Craig-Athol".

She wants to give something back to the very special farmers who support and are vital to the community and country.

To do this, Leisa said for every new referral of a client to Helloworld Travel Biloela, Gladstone and Rockhampton, these stores would donate a bale of hay to Rural Aid and the drought appeal in Queensland.

Leisa is looking forward to starting the next decade with a massive year planned ahead.
