Lisa left their luxury Minyama home in June after 23 years of marriage.
She moved into a beachfront penthouse.
Earlier this month, Lisa and Grant were seen together on the Gold Coast, watching youngest child, 14-year-old Jett, compete for Mooloolaba in the Coolangatta Gold junior event, Woman's Day reported.
“She was madly flirting with Grant,” an observer told the magazine.
“(She was) giggling like a schoolgirl, stroking his arm and making plenty of eye contact.
“He was trying to concentrate on what was happening in the ocean, but she kept teasing him and grabbing his attention - it was so cute.
“For a wife who supposedly wants a divorce, Lisa seemed very aware of him.
“Even when she greeted their other ironman mates with a kiss and hug, she kept looking over to make sure Grant was watching, as if she was trying to spark a little jealousy.
An unnamed former ironman and “friend of the couple” was quoted as saying it was like old times seeing them hanging out together, chatting in the sun.
“They are the two biggest celebrities in surf lifesaving circles, so Lisa and Grant being on again of course became the talk of the beach,” he said.
Even though the split was Lisa's decision, it is understood she has recently had a change of heart, the Woman's Day report said.
“Lisa is a very open person who always says what she feels - and right now her goal is to get back with Grant,” another friend, who had shared many social occasions with the Curry-Kenny family, said.
“She makes it clear that she misses him and the life they had together.”
One of the issues behind the split was Grant's dedication to his aviation business, but the time apart had caused Lisa to “see him in a new light”. “He's a good person - a fantastic father and a kind man who treated Lisa very well.”
