Chief Executive Officer Established in 1974, the Townsville Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Corporation for Health Services (TAIHS) aims to empower Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to take control of their individual, family and community health, which encompasses physical, social, emotional, cultural, spiritual and economic well-being. Our community has access to holistic primary health care that is culturally appropriate and incorporates prevention, promotion and treatment.
TAIHS is seeking to recruit a person of outstanding ability with senior level management and financial skills and extensive experience in health and/or community administration for the position of Chief Executive Officer. The CEO is the key management leader of TAIHS. They are responsible for overseeing the administration, programs and strategic plan of the Corporation.
The successful candidate will have outstanding leadership; financial, strategic people management skills; high levels of energy, drive and initiative for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander self-determination; and a proven record of achievement in managing change in a complex environment. A negotiable executive salary package in the vicinity of $150,000 plus superannuation and salary sacrifice options will be on offer.
