Ensham Resources (a joint venture majority owned by Idemitsu Australia Resources) is the operator of a coal project located 40km north east of Emerald in the Bowen Basin, in Central Queensland. Ensham comprises an open cut mine currently operating a dragline and an expanding underground bord and pillar operation. It mines high energy low ash thermal coal and total annual production is approximately 5 million tonnes per year.

Reporting to the Superintendent Environmental you will perform a diverse role within the Health, Safety, Environment & Training Department. This role will have exposure to all environmental aspects and challenges of a large open cut and underground coal mine.
