A DULULU man who cut his throat after hitting a barbwire fence on his property on Sunday has been released from Rockhampton Hospital.
Alex Wilson, 55, rode through the fence while riding his motorbike around 9am at his property on Westwood-Wowan Road.
The RACQ Capricorn Helicopter Rescue Service was called to Mr Wilson's property.
An emergency services spokesperson said he was in a serious but stable condition when he was flown to Rockhampton Hospital.
Mr Wilson's neighbours Sara and Dennis Martin visited him on Monday and said he was feeling all right despite the ordeal.
Sara said most of Mr Wilson's family was overseas, except for a son in Rockhampton, who the Central Telegraph was unable to contact.
An ambulance from Wowan was sent to the property but was not required for transport.
Mr Wilson was released from hospital yesterday.

Three men from Hervey Bay and the Sunshine Coast were in the vehicle when it left the Theodore-Eidsvold road around 1.30am.
The men were picked up by a supervisor and taken to the Cracow Gold Mine, where they were treated by mine first-aid officers before ambulance officers arrived around 2.30am.
At the same time, police and the fire brigade from Theodore attended the accident scene.
The car was 2 km north of Cracow down an embankment about 8-10 metres among thick scrub and bush land.
One man, 21, suffered an injury to his left shoulder, was taken to Theodore Hospital, along with a second man, 31, who was taken as a precaution. Both were released later in the day.
The third man, 33, refused a trip to hospital.
The fire brigade made the scene safe by disconnecting the battery and ensuring there were no other immediate hazards.
Investigations into the cause of the accident are continuing.
