Truck/bridge crash closes highway
Police temporarily have detours in place on the Burnett Highway following an accident at a rail overpass north of Biloela.
Police have detours in place from Biloela to Rockhampton through Jambin Dakenbah Rd and Argoon Highway.
A truck carrying the excavator collided with the rail overpass on the Burnett Highway, near Callide Creek.
The truck has caused major damage to the underside of a major rail bridge overpass.
UPDATE:
The Burnett Highway has reopened following the above accident.
Rail traffic is still blocked in the area.
