Train, truck collide near Biloela
A train and a cement semi trailer have collided near Argoon, 17km north of Biloela.
The collision occurred at a level crossing on the Jambin-Dakenbah Rd.
The train was returning to Gladstone having delivered its load of steel pipes to the Australian Pacific LNG stockpile at Callide, 7kms south of the accident.
Fire crews from Biloela attended the scene along with police and Queensland Ambulance Service paramedics.
An eye witness told Central Telegraph the force of the collision forced the trailer off the truck cab and sent it flying through the air, landing about 15 metres from the crossing.
The train's two engines and five flat tray carriages then fell onto its side.
Initial reports are that drivers received only minor injuries.
Police are organising for a crane to right the train and clear the trailers from blocking the Jambin-Dakenbah Rd crossing.
