Police investigate Biloela fire

Police are currently investigating the cause of a fire in Biloela last night.

The fire caused significant damage to a Kariboe Street residence.

Police were called to the blaze around 7:30pm to find the house well alight, however the fire was contained shortly after.

There was extensive damage to the back of the dwelling and the interior as well as a large shed at the rear of the property.

The occupants were not home at the time.
