Just in time for Father's Day
PAUL Kaczmarek isn't interested in socks and jocks this Father's Day.
The new father joked he was looking forward to a far more worthwhile gift on his first Father's Day - taking the day off from cleaning dirty nappies.
"Don't worry, I've been doing my fair share already," he laughed.
Mr Kaczmarek and his wife Krystelle became proud parents on Wednesday night with the birth of their beautiful, healthy daughter Imogen Rose.
Their six pound bundle of joy came a little early, just in time for the special day.
"She was actually meant to be born just after Father's Day," Mr Kaczmarek said.
"I guess she must have known it was coming. It's the best gift I could have asked for."
Mrs Kaczmarek said she had complete faith in her husband and that he was always going to be a natural dad.
"All of the babies were crying in the ward and everyone was running around but Paul just seemed calm and together," she said.
"He's going to be a great dad. It's like he was just born to do it."
