Legal challenge to Carbon Tax
THE Queensland Premier is still awaiting legal advice on the Federal Government's controversial carbon tax.
Last week, Premier Campbell Newman announced he had sought legal advice from Attorney-General Jarrod Bleijie about the legitimacy of the carbon tax.
Mr Newman told reporters on Monday the Attorney-General was still working on the advice but he would not release it to the public.
He said he would not release the legal advice as he did not want to show it to the Federal Government, whose tax they were fighting.
