Strange bird deaths investigated

A SPATE of galah deaths have residents in Biloela concerned.

20 galahs were found dead near Biloela High School on Saturday.

The Department of Environment and Heritage Protection are investigating the incident.

Wildlife manager Mike Devery said the galah deaths were reported on Monday and officers are waiting on autopsy results.

Any member of the public who may have information about these deaths can report this to EHP on 1300130372.

He said people should not feed galahs as unsuitable foods can make them ill.
