FOUR Biloela mates are ready to take on one of the toughest challenges in the world.
Anthony Swift, Matthew Johnston, Scott Summers and Andrew Heit have signed up for the Oxfam Trailwalker in June this year.
Teams trek from Mt Glorious to Mt Coot-tha, a gruelling 100km, in just 48 hours.
Captain Anthony Swift said the team had been training hard.
"The aim is to do the 100km in 48 hours but we are looking at doing it in around 24 hours.
"The winning team usually does it in about 12 and a half hours so that's pretty much running the whole way."
The boys have already had their challenges with all on different shifts at the mine.
The group have come up with the name 'we trained Norris' for their team.
"We think for us to train for this event we need to be better than Chuck Norris so we say that we trained Norris."
'We trained Norris' must raise $1000 for Oxfam to compete and will be fundraising until June.
